Right -- mine was $5 off the $13 per month, maybe because we've had DirecTV forever. You could check and see if you can get $5 off your $13, but we're quibbling about chump change now, and probably not worth the hassle.
I'm perplexed by the way Gobblin and dub actually REDUCED their bill by ADDING the sports package, but those dudes are pretty smooth, so I wouldn't put it pas them.
I talked to a woman here in the U$, from her accent. Another board member posted the info that I went by and it was the same for me. Then gobbles did the same. My guess is that you can cancel the ( upgrade the day after the meet and they will pro-rate your cost that month down to a couple of bucks.

LOL I made that call as suave and deboner as possible, thanking and complimenting the customer service person the entire time. I actually made her laugh on a few occasions. Tierra gave us another discount above and beyond the $27 off per month because she could. At that point, I wanted to end the call as soon as possible because it looked like she was about to give me the entire company and I'm too lazy to run a conglomerate like that at my age.
I asked to talk to her manager after the call and sang her praises, I kid you not. And we had the channels in question immediately. She just twinkled her nose and told me that if we ever got tired of saving money we can call and they will happily switch back to original package.

welp 19 ****ing years with DTV as a customer - and a former employee of GM Hughes / DTV. And i stayed on line for an hour and had the privilege of talking to an idiot in Pakistan who insisted several times that I could watch it on a local channel (i'm in OC California). Tried again and talked to another idiot in India. Tried again and some OK from Muskogee said I needed to buy the $141 a month bundle. guess It is Ironside and Grace - and I'll watch Michigan beat Nebby on BTN.
