yes we lost. We had a bad shooting day. Our all American was off. But we were still in it to the end. We are still tied for first place. My disappointed is in the fans..... Not the team. Pathetic response by so many people.

I agree. It was a tough environment and a tough game. Iowa didn't shoot the ball well in the first half and had some "bad" turnovers. The whole key to the game was the FT line and Iowa shot poorly again. Have to knock down your FT's in tight ballgames.
Overall I am not upset, it was a tough game. Some nights your shots fall and other nights they just don't! Ask the All American Melo Trimble how many pts he had at Michigan in their loss a few weeks ago? 4pts? So even the good players have off nights and it sucks that Utoff's was tonight.

I think most fans understand that this is just one game in the grand scheme of a tough big season. You always have the bi polar segment that thinks Iowa will win the National Championship after a win and never win again after a loss. By and large though I think most fans are pretty reasonable.
I hope you are correct. Some of the idiots that have come on this board are whacked out. Crush the cats!!!
I agree with the above.... but it is disappointing because that game was right there for the taking. If the Hawks could have put together just another 2-3 minute run where they just played near their average ability, it would have been an "ugly win".
I'm in a weird way glad I'm disappointed when we lose. There was a time before Fran where I quit caring if we lost. I was numb to it so it's nice to care again how we do.
