Umm didn’t even make it to state.
Hell the same team that knocked out Carton also just took down IC West as well. So 2 of the top players in the state were taking out by a team w/a UNI recruit.
Would have LOVED to have Carton, but I'm feeling he won't be as big as a miss for us as some others in the past like Lafrentz, Paige and Hinrich.
Looking at his 3pt and free throw percentage I'd say his offense skills rival our current PGA. Not that interested.

Ridiculous but there were people on here saying they wouldn't take Zion Williamson for a year.
Its depressing that Iowa can never land top guard talent.

Iowa has a FR PG who ranks 3rd in the conference in A/TO and we have fans encouraging him to quit and focus on baseball. You are right, gotta love some Iowa “fans”.
I hope McCaffery sticks with basketball, but if he wants to focus on baseball that's his decision. More ball handlers is never a bad thing.
Goddam I wish we had Carton coming in next year. Carton starting, JBo at the 2 over moss, Joe T. and Connor backing up . . . that would've been a strong backcourt
