Do Hawkeye fans want Clones to beat Horns tonight?

Eh, I guess.
1) I hate Texas along with all other blue bloods.
2) I actually think Campbell might be an OK coach, should he have a decent year or two someone will get him out of there.

Heck yes I want them to win.Honest question do fans tailgate all day when they have games like this?

Which result helps Iowa more?

I think State being a competent and competitive program helps Iowa. So the national perception about us not playing anyone OOC is stifled.

Iowa State being good raises the profile of the series.

I won’t cry if Texas is wins tho.

I could care less about the clones......but if their winning helps us, then have at it. That said, if Texas wins I will get a bit of enjoyment from that. I guess it's a win win for me.

Bears/Packers tonight so I will check the clones score after the Bears (hopefully) pull the upset and decide how I feel then

I am a clone hater so tonight is a win-win situation for me. If they win, that is good for our strength of schedule. If they lose, they LOSE! Can't go wrong.

mildly yes, but only because I hate the arrogant Texas fans and would like to see them lose more than I'd like to see Iowa State win. If it's Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State or anybody else in that conference, no.

No, I prefer them to be a national laughingstock.

If they get some success, it will make it harder for the Hawks to lock down in-state recruits. Iowa doesn't produce enough P5 level in-state talent to lose half of it to another school, and the coaches having to spend more of their recruiting time & assets in state would be a bad thing.

Win-win. I guess gun to head I hope they win but solely for our SOS. But living in Ankeny and witnessing first hand the vitriol for all things Iowa, I won't shed a tear if they get throttled. Plus, would prove once again they really only care about the Iowa game.

I want the Cyclones to win tonight. I have said this before, somewhat ashamed, but I did attend Iowa State for one year back in the 1980's. Not by choice mind you, I had a girlfriend that was a year younger and still in highschool, and she did not want me to go to Iowa because she said I wouldn't come home on weekends, so I had to go to ISU. But, I wised up after a year and transferred to DMACC. LOL But, ISU winning is good for Iowa because they are considered a WEAK opponent on the Hawkeye schedule. I would actually like to see ISU win all there games, but get hammered by the Hawks.

Yep! This thinking that an improved isu somehow helps us makes zero sense to me..

ISU seems to do fairly well against Texas lately. I know they got blown out last year, but the year before they shut them out at home 24-0 and lost really close games in 2014 & 2013. (And yes, I'm aware Texas has a new coach now.)

Should be interesting to see which Texas team shows up tonight--the one who gave up a bunch of points to Maryland or the one who lost a tough game to USC in OT.

It seems Tom Herman might be getting things figured out, so ISU will have to play like the team across the field is wearing black and gold to be competitive. Otherwise, they'll probably get beat by 20+.

I live in Texas now so I have to go with the Horns. 54-27 Texas.
