You can win a Midlands title with three escapes, one period of riding time, and one offensive move in sudden death overtime? Like, I say, maybe I missed something and he did try some things earlier and while riding . Speaking of Montoya over Richards.

Yes but you have to do a strange little humping dance on your opponent afterwards, not that I had an issue with it because well it's Richards and I just can't seem to find a way to like him or want him to win any match he ever wrestles.

Did you watch Sorenson's win? I love Sorenson because he's a Hawk but it's completely the same recipe as Montoya's win

The air hump...my head almost exploded. I'd like to spit some beachnut in that dudes eye.

Did u ever see Mike Evans wrestle?

Not quite. Sorenson didn't beat someone that had four offensive points while he had none (in regulation).. Sure, win anyway you can, as someone said, I go along with that. Not the kid's fault rules work that way.

In all fairness, he earned those escapes while Richards was not able to earn one. This midwestern mentality that wrestling is an "on the feet sport" is not totally embraced by the whole country. Some places place a lot of emphasis on mat wrestling. Also, Montoya did get the takedown in OT. He earned the win pure and simple in my mind. ps.. I like Richards. It is impressive to me what he is doing with very little help in the room. If he had Clarks or Tomasello's or even Cortez's or Brocks workout partners, he would be even better.

Not according to Gilman. He said it's all about HOW you win.
He did indeed. But I think he'll take the W he managed to eek out against a "dangerous" guy, and be happy to have it. I'm thinking he's a lot happier than if he were to have gotten an L behind his name.

But it did sound like he thought he learned something if they were ever to meet again, so that's the good news. He gave Terao some respect even though he definitely thought he got cheap-shotted a time or two.

I'd be expecting a match ending face mush from Gilman should they meet again to be honest...............or if he sticks him maybe a little side tap on the head as he gets up. It'll be chippy, that much I'm certain of.
