Do You Use A Tire Gauge When Airing Tires?

I have a small Sears tire compressor(?) and I use the built in gauge.

Yup.

If you don’t use one, you are just guessing. Best of luck to ya. I love the tech my Nissan Altima has where the horn honks when it reaches the correct tire pressure. Game changer.

yes even though you can set most pumps ate Kwik Trip to the pressure you want.

If they have semi air pumps use those. It turns down in increments of 5 and if you wait a second you can do single digits. The works an effload better.

I just eyeball it in the winter when they just need a little bit. I like getting air at hyvee gas. Their dispenser has the psi on it.

I have a grease monkey who fills my tires with nitrogen and then my car reads out what the pressure is. I don't sully myself with such mundane things.

Depends if the pump has a built in tire gauge or not. Or would the automatic ones still count as using a tire gauge for your question? If so, then yes I do use one.
