I got a few jogger style sweatpants. I love these from Vineyard Vines. Got em in grey & black. Great for weekends and nights at the lake

I have those and wore them to the neighborhood bar last week. There were just no rules last week

Sweatpants? No don't own any.

Warmup pants to and from the gym? Absolutely.

Of course not. I have a couple pairs of slim fitting jogger style sweat pants. They’re for working out and lounging.

The only time I can remember wearing them outside of my house in any other capacity is when I had the flu a couple years ago and wore them to pick up my prescription. I was in complete ZFG mode that week.

WTF are warmup pants Ghost ?
Sweatpants are made from cotton. Same crap you find in sweatshirts and are worn by poors and Belicheat.

Warmup pants are made from nylon and sometimes other materials like you would find in a windbreaker.

Sweatpants vs Warmup pants is like Jeans vs Slacks.

Yep. Quite often too, but mainly only in cold weather months.

Then again, 90% of the time I'm outside I'm not doing anything remotely close to be needing to wear anything specific. Trips to the store, working in yard, etc. I wear clean, not stained or ripped sweats. And I look around at what others are wearing at these very same places and I am not out of line with anything anybody else is wearing (unless they are obviously coming home from or going to work and are in work clothes etc).

Hell, go shopping at 8am some Saturday/Sunday morning sometime. Many of the women are wearing what amounts to being pajamas. Ironically, most times I actually by comparison look like I put actual thought into what I picked...WHILE wearing sweats.

But do I clothes shame those that don't? Hail no.

I seriously doubt that wearing sweats to Hy Vee or Menards that anybody is going to point at me shaming me for my fashion choices in the 5 to 10 minutes I'm in actual public view. And if they did, like I actually give a crap about it.

I've said it plenty of times in threads here before, it still stands. "Know your audience". There are times where dressing up (even if that means simply, blue jeans) is warranted, there are times when it isn't. If you know these and dress appropriately, have at it with what you want to wear.

I don't give a shit what others think I look like when I'm wearing sweats out in public etc. Period.

I’m past the point in life about being judged about what I wear/don’t wear. I wear warm-up pants almost every day, I put them on after work. I wear them grocery shopping, running errands and even to church choir practice. If people have an issue with that, it’s their problem.

I don’t own sweatpants. And it doesn’t matter to me what you choose to wear in public. I’ll likely be rolling my eyes at you anyway.
