I've lived downtown long enough that I don't even notice the sirens or trains anymore. They're just kind of ambient background noise that I've gotten used to.
I saw an ambulance and firetruck on SW MLK around 6:15'ish. Didn't notice anything outside of that.
Des Moines subreddit doesn't have anything on it, and people post on there if someone pops a roll of bubblewrap.
