Does anyone remember the Lickliter years?

I'm frustrated too and discussing problems with the team is what a basketball message board is for but people calling for Fran to be fired? Really?

At least we care enough again to be pissed off. I know during the last 2 Lickliter years I didn't watch half the time and losses didn't even bother me.

At least now we seem to reach new heights each year such as being ranked third and there are 3 top 100 recruits already committed over the next few years.

I just want to know how long some Iowa fans are going to refer to the Lick years every time Iowa collapses late in a season, late in a game, or gets shown the door after one game in the BTT by a double digit seed?

Lick never lost to a double digit seed in the BTT.

Agree, we are all disappointed but things could be much worse. I hope Iowa keeps Fran or he doesn't just leave for another program were maybe he'd be more appreciated. What he's done for Iowa basketball since he's been here is really remarkable and I like his style of basketball and so do recruits. Look what happened to Minnesota after they let Tubby go and after Iowa let Dr. Tom go.

Little Lick would at least be smart enough to try getting the ball to JU or Jok in the final 10 seconds. I can't believe what I am witnessing out of what I considered one of the best coaching staffs in the country.
