Does anyone want to watch the Final game?

I don’t have much interest in an SEC Championship game redux. Even both semis underwhelmed

No. I wasted more of my life this season listening to the talking heads at ESPN brag up the SEC and ACC. The problem with the current system is that it is built to favor the elite schools. All the story lines throughout the year favor them, the media favors them and protects them. No matter what happens to these top teams they always get the benefit of the doubt. Ohio St last year, Alabama this year. Clemsen's loss to Syracuse was largely ignored. The media constantly contradicts themselves and creates whatever narrative benefits their teams. It's a corrupt system that favors the few. There is absolutely no room for error for teams like Wisconsin and Iowa and no hope for teams like UCF no matter their strength of schedule. UCF's undefeated season and bowl win vs the only team to beat Bama and Georgia will sadly do nothing for other teams like UCF in the future. If a team like Iowa wins the B1G with one loss sadly they likely get overlooked and the B1G is viewed as weak.

What this bowl season has taught me is that the ACC was greatly overrated, that the Syracuse loss was a bigger indicator than any talking head believed, the SEC is Georgia, Alabama and nobody else. The BIG 12 still can not figure out how to play quality D and the B1G is clearly the deepest conference.

A few years ago I stopped watching the NFL. Freed up a lot of time and made my life better and more productive on Sundays. Last year I only watched Iowa. Made my Saturday's better and more productive. This holiday break after watching all these games I am reminded of the ugly side of college football and how it is controlled by the media. I will only be watching Iowa and the B1G for now on.

Sure, why not?

It'd be silly to watch all kinds of college football all season and then because of some sort of prejudice against a conference or teams involved not to watch the championship game deciding things.

Stylistically, I love the match-up. It's a Big Boy Football lover's delight. Line up across the other team and see who is tougher. None of this Air Raid shenanigans gonna happen here. Body punches all game long, let's see who's standing at the end.

I would like to think the average Iowa fan would appreciate a game such as this.

In a year where there was no dominant, all timer type team out there - to me, the best two teams, the strongest two teams top to bottom - are in the title game.

Who doesn't want to watch that?

I hope Georgia wins but I decided not to watch any game involving Alabama. Low ratings is the only thing that fans can do to protest - I call it the Mercer effect.

The Rose Bowl was fun to watch. I didn't feel like I was watching particularly good football given the defensive performances, but I had fun watching it. The final, however, doesn't interest me much. On the other hand, if there's nothing else on, I'll definitely check in.

James Madison vs. NDSU should be fun in the 1-AA championship...
