Bo Ryan brought the Sterling ball to Madison...and the ball's uniqueness was frequently criticized by B10 coaches. Tom Izzo once said that to prepare for Wisconsin at Madison his team practiced shooting and dribbling with rocks before the games.....Players complained about the ball bounce, the ball's seem width, its color and texture, thus giving Ryan more ammunition in keeping his ball rack full of Sterling basketballs. (Ryan didn't need the help, either!)
