Does Iowa have anyone who can cover Rondale Moore?

Short answer no. We hope to be able to get pressure, give help on Moore, hit him often, and tackle well. He’ll have success, we hope to keep him from dominating.

I watched his highlights vs OSU. He's got to be one of the shiftiest players I've seen. We need to play smart zone defense and know where that guy is at all times.

Purdue does a great job of using him in various ways to get him the ball in space. Might be the most dangerous individual in college football.

Here is the thing. Moore is pretty good, no doubt about that, but tOSU's defense to put it quite bluntly sucks. So, although Moore ran wild and Purdue put 49 on the Buckeyes, it isn't like Buckeyes have been able to stop anyone. Lets be real. The only team that hasn't scored at least 26 points against the Buckeyes has been Tulane. Penn State probably should have beat them. Minnesota had they not shot themselves in the foot had a chance to beat them and Indiana played them tough. Our defense, in my opinion is much better then Ohio State's has been, so we'll see if we can keep Moore somewhat contained.

This is exactly how I feel. Moore will he tough for anyone that lines up across from him. Great player. Best way IMO is get your butt to the QB and don’t let him set his feet.

We need to cover him as best we can and then shut everything else down,... Moore's going to get what he can, but if we do a good job elsewhere it won't be enough....

The thing with Moore is that PU doesn't try to throw him the home run ball very often even though he's usually the fastest player on the field. They'll use high percentage passes to get him the ball in space and that's where he does his damage. He can turn a 5 yard swing pass into a 70 yard TD while making a bunch of defenders look silly in the process.
I think the wet track at MSU hurt his ability to make plays since it limited his ability to cut and go which is his specialty. PU will try to get favorable matchups, whether it be a LB or S on Moore and then take advantage of that. Playing him in man is tough because he's so fast and if our QB has the time (that's a major question mark. MSU made our QB uncomfortable for 3 quarters), he'll find Moore.

Yawn.

I would say bracketing and assignment football. Make them earn it with long drives.

Combine that with wanting to eat up the play clock to keep their offense off the field as much as possible.

So, pretty much like their game plan every other week

Can we have a game plan that includes our offense scoring points?

It was easy to copy/paste a handful of tweets when I had couple minutes but I stopped doing it because asshats would make comments about my post count not realizing 95%were copy/paste. Unfortunately I know there were people who enjoyed that thread but I got tired of it.
LOL....>We definitely have our share of asshats around here . LOL To be honest, I never saw the number of posts you had and it just caught my eye today for some reason. I go in spots, I probably post a lot during the season then hibernate till the next season.
