We all know that Iowa beat Northwestern handily. There was little doubt who the better team was. With that said, it's a tossup as to whether Iowa wins at all without Sullivan entering the game. Cade had already thrown 2 interceptions, one of them a pick 6, and the Iowa offense scored 3 points while giving up 7. They were behind 7-3. This game could have easily gone down as a loss had the rest of the game played out as it did while Cade was behind center leaving the Hawks reeling at 4-4. I get all the hand wringing about Kirk going back to Cade given his history and comments. There is no ****ing way Kirk starts Cade after what occurred last weekend and frankly all season up to this point. If he's even considering it he should be institutionalized.

I was thinking about this at the game......probably a higher than a 50/50 shot.......but an ugly score of something weird like 19-17.....and maybe not even that much scoring.......
No. On at least two of Sullivan’s TD drives, he scrambled or ran for good gains. Those aren’t options for Cade
If Cade is in, those drives would have stalled
