Does your mom put nuts in everything?

I love my mom’s baking but she puts nuts in all of it, which really bugs me. I have to ask her to leave them out of chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Shouldn’t that just be a given?

I could see walnuts but not Spanish peanuts. Like the op I hate nuts in brownies, fudge cookies. It's like onions in cooking, it's not the flavor that's gross, it's the texture and crunch that's gross.
