I have seen coaches that are conceded to know end like Dantonio, Dick Satan (Nick Saben) but Richy really takes the cream off the top.. “we develop players better than anyone” ummmmm... no see IOWA and WISCONSIN.. if IOWA and WISCONSIN got the talent that PSU does year in and year out they would be 1/2 in the country year in and year out.

The guy is sooooo into himself and how he brags how great his team is going to be .. I guess it’s tough out at Shower U but he sure likes to slap himself and his team on the back. It’s ok to be confident in your team or program but to listen to this assface talk his team up like they’re going to better at RB this year? Ok, give me some of dat shit you’re smoking .. I think they’re going to be damn good but not at the level he thinks they will be all world .. Iowa needs to remember and feel the hurt from last seasons game and come out and ouch the living €#}€|!{¥]% out of PSU .. sorry had to vent he was worse than Hardblower

It's hard to argue with success. Although Franklin's successful years have been the McSorley/Barkley years.

Yes he's bad but Fleck is worse IMO. So slimy and F.O.S.. He said they got the best recruiting class in Minny history last year 3-4 times yesterday. One question, how the f*ck does he know? Ya cant' tell till a few years down the line. He spins it so hard I get dizzy watching him.

The B1G coaching pool used to contain quiet, old and quite frankly boring antiquated acts. I mean now you have young guys like Brohm, Fleck, and Frost. You have Urban, Harbaugh and Franklin who are all considered top coaches in any conference. You have Fitzgerald, Chryst , Dantonio and Kirk who squeeze out everything from their less heralded recruited players.

I find B1G media days to be much more entertaining these days. The days of Paterno, Tressell, Carr, Riley and other dull close to the vest no quote answer machines are over. The B1G now just might have the best collection of coaches in any conference. It may unnerve some, I don't see it going back to how it was though.

It is still just media days, which means no real information. So it doesn't really matter if it's coming from a boring coach or an exciting coach, it is still no information

Not really my point, I know that is what the O.P was talking about. I was referencing the changing of the guard in the B1G as it refers to coaching personalities.

When Urban came in '12 it was a different game, he brought a different approach that ruffled more than a few feathers. Franklin, Harbaugh both continued that trend in their own quirky way. Now you have Fleck and Frost as well.

My favorite from him is that last year was "Year Zero." As if the 5-7 record didn't count. I actually think he can coach, but stuff like this undermines what he is trying to do.
