Go watch the banquet in which Trump spoke & was basically roasting Hillary, while she was seated a few feet away. Everyone was all chummy, and the temperature in the room was that as if she was the slam dunk winner. She even played along with the roasting.

Interesting conversation on Lib TV today featuring David Cay Johnston. He has been deep into Trump's finances for decades, and he thinks Trump will just fold up Trump Org. It's actually a small organization, and although there are some resources, it isn't really managed by the Trump's anymore. They are not actively developing new projects. None of them spend any time in NY anymore. Johnston feels like the case is very strong, and that rather than fight Trump will write off pretty close to the full amount AG James is asking for in penalties, and who cares about not doing deals in NY anymore? He's moved onto grifting rubes full-time.
Maybe so, but if is the model businesses use, the space in prisons available by the "forgiveness policy" and the dollars to be gained through restitution shines the light on prosecuting white collar crime.
The IRS needs to get its shit together and go after the wealthy and businesses gaming the system to avoid taxes criminally.
The regular citizen pays taxes as a civic duty. People/organizations most unaffected financially play shell games to avoid taxes. Using tax shelters for tax purposes is common business practice. To exploit tax laws in the manner the Orange Turd did is criminal, and I hope he, his family and everyone operating like him are exposed and prosecuted.

It doesn't sound like it's going well for Trump. His lawyers were repeatedly admonished by the judge yesterday. He has appeals against the AG and the judge, but those appear to be delay tactics. This trial is set to start in 2 weeks, and Trump is going to lose bigly.
