Videos of Julius, a 5-foot-10, 258-pound redshirt sophomore, went viral twice this season for two big hits he laid on returners. He didn't make a tackle in Saturday's game against the Golden Gophers, but he slowed returner Jalen Myrick, who spun out of his attempted stop.

Minnesota linebacker Jaylen Waters was ejected Saturday after an apparent feud with Penn State's 258-pound kicker that culminated in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and Joey Juliusneeding help off the field.

This was a terrible call if the hit did happen during play before the whistle (I didn't hear one in the video I saw but I'm not sure). If he wants to run down and try to level people, then teams should be able to block him. What are they supposed to do, not block him and let him run down and take a free shot at the returner just because he's the kicker? Sure, the hit was a little excessive and I could see a flag for roughing, but if it happened during play it should not have warranted an ejection. The kicker saw he was going to get hit and tried to slow down to avoid it and then flopped like he was shot after being hit.

It was a clean block that didn't violate any rules. Officials screwed up and the kicker is a wuss.

Only thing would be the launching, but Julius also flopped. He was clearly hit in the shoulder because he started to brace himself and even turn away from the hit so there was no real vicious contact that could've knocked him out.

Then him laying there selling the hit was solid acting on his fat soccer-playing part.

More than likely he'll try to do the same thing against Iowa and get one of our guys ejected.

These two players were mixed up earlier in the game on the kick-off. The kicker got thrown to the ground and the Minny guy was blocking him and tossed him off. The kicker got up and was pumping up the crowd.

Guessing the Minny guy wanted to end it and smoked him. Legal hit as the kicker is running down the field as a tackler? Can a blocker not block the kicker? I know they have a rule of blindside blocks, but this was head on and the kicker deserved it.
