Doritos Controversy

Doritos are good, but not at almost $6 a bag for 9oz!
that's ridiculous. I recommend the Urge Nacho Cheese from KT. they are really good at 2.88.

My understanding is that Doritos wasn’t aware of the offensive remarks when they partnered with her and quickly cut ties once they learned about them. Sounds like they are guilty of not doing their due diligence, but at least they corrected their mistake.

Not a single person has defended this. Really.

Hitler, Sadaam, and Jeffrey Dahmer could be Doritos brand influencers and I'd still buy them. They are the perfect chip to crush down on a ham sandwich.

Sadam became a huge Doritos fan after his capture.
Big on Doritos
For a time his favorite food was Cheetos, and when those ran out, Saddam would “get grumpy,” the story says. One day the guards substituted Doritos corn chips, and Saddam forgot about Cheetos. “He’d eat a family size bag of Doritos in 10 minutes,” Dawson says.

"That's all he talked about, that's all he wanted to eat after that," O'Shea told NBC's "Today" show.

I wonder how large is the overlap of people criticizing this person but were defending Carson King’s racist social media posts as a kid? Young people post a lot of stupid stuff, it’s inevitable that someone will dredge it up at some point in time after the spotlight hits you. I’d tend to let these things go assuming they’ve moved away from their youthful intolerant stupidity.

Likely right, and also likely related to a lazy/cozy relationship with the ad agency developing/promoting the campaign

I can only imagine the things some of the posters here would have tweeted if they had social media at age 15.

Bold move by those guards. If you bring me Cheetos instead of Doritos I am sending you to the gulag
