no one wants to be top dog this year.

WVU made 33 of 47 free throws. Shot 33% FG and 25% 3PT and won.

I bet that was a fun game to watch.

West Virginia is a tough place to play.

I see Iowa State gave up 49 to Texas in the 1st half. Looks like their woes on defense continue. Funny, I read so much at the beginning of the season how Prohm was emphasizing that end of the court.

I guess you only see what you want to see. You didn't notice that Texas gave up 49 points to ISU in the 2nd half. For the person who said ISU can't rebound ISU won the rebound margin 39-33 against Texas and shot 54.3% from the field to 48.6 % for Texas. ISU will be challenged in most Big 12 games this season with 6 players, what a difference Naz Long's 15 or more points and high three point percentage would have made. Iowa wouldn't win many games either if they lost a player of Naz Long's calibre to injury. Unfortunately he may not get back his original form in time to help next year either. Most people with a heart wouldn't wish that misfortune on any player.

Yep the clowns are so awesome that they shoot over 54% and still lose. No worries with how isu plays D they are still final four bound just ask Brent with Blummers.

This is a year with no clear favorites. The first time in a while that it wouldn't be a surprise for a team in the 20s to 30 of the rankings get hot and make a run to the title. None of the top 10 appears invincible in the least.
I'm loving it.
Should make tourney time even more fun with upsets galore.

Talk about only seeing what you want to....You do know that the best rebounder, by far, for Texas is out with an injury and the Longhorns played small ball most of the game. But that's OK. Your Clowns almost beat them. Congrats!

I pointed out that Iowa State gave up 49 points in a half. Which is true. Iowa State's issues on defense have been well documented as of late. Pointing out that Iowa State gave up 49 points is relevant to that discussion.

Oh, and thanks for the long-winded, inane drivel about Iowa State's glowing rebounding statistics and the devastating loss of Naz Long. I don't know if you are referring to someone else, but I have never wished misfortune on any player. In fact, if you have read any of my posts, you would see that I'm usually reasonably fair and objective when it comes to discussing Iowa State.

Frankly, your whole post is a total mystery to me as far as whatever point you are trying to make.
