They look good last night granted against crap team. Didn't see Ronnie Penn play. Is he done or just minor injury. Last year he couldn't get healthy. Hope that isn't the case again.

Penn is still having foot issues but he is expected to try and play through it this year.

IUPUI is the worst D1 in the nation, but Drake should win the valley

Penn will play. Actually guessing sooner rather than later. But at this point I’m guessing they’ll be safe with him. Drake is a pretty heavy favorite to win the Valley. Great experience for the backup pt guard who has looked really good in the exhibition and last night. Transfer from Texas Tech is going to be an absolute stud. If this team stays healthy they’re a threat to win a game or 2 in the tournament.

Went last night. Got out to a 20-0 lead and just played pickup ball from there. Penn needs to take as much time as he needs. Just heal up for the Valley.

Calhoun from Texas Tech is going to be a stud to match with DeVries.

They should be the clear favorite in the Valley this year.

Big reason I got the Plus is to see Drake play. Really enjoy Devries teams. Hopefully they can keep him around awhile.

This. Penn will be just fine. Calhoun looks great. If they could just find a way to get Brode to be at least marginally serviceable, they are going to be tough to beat this year.
