He'll be a preferred walk-on for the Sooners.Good for him. Cannot see if he walked on or was given a scholarship. Either way, hope he does well in Norman!
(I agree herky) if you feel he was a stretch what about the kid from ct?
Roasted? Nah, maybe microwaved. LOLGiven a choice of the two Nico wins hands down. 5' 10" 170lb vs 6' 190lb with a year of prep experience. I would have loved to have Stoops as a walk on. I think Nico is a "stretch" for a blue blood program but not for Iowa. (I know I'll get roasted for that comment from all those who think we should be recruiting at the same level as AL, tOSU, MI)
If this happens in two years he will have to walk on. I won’t blame him for staying where he grew up to bad his ancestral allegiances and loyalties wasn’t stronger than where he grew up.When Stoops transfers in two years it will be to Iowa.
