starting to venture out and listen to podcasts on a more regular basis. I remember (and I know most here do as well) Dresser going off last year on this podcast about Iowa and the national duals. Anyway this year he was a lot more civil but he still had to take a "not naming programs" approach that was rather obvious who he's referring to. I believe the part about Iowa starts with about 18:00 left

I like this dual matchup. It's the 2 least liked coaches lumped together. If they could make it a triangular with American it'd be even better. I know nothing about the American coach other than he was full Manning at midlands in the Gilman match. I hope he's not like that normally.

American head.coach is Teague Moore a Pa kid and a 3x aa and 1x champ for Okie St.
Great person, coach and great for the sport

I think Dresser being one of the two least liked coaches is from an HR perspective only.

Ok I knew the accolades I was just unaware that's who the coach was. I was too lazy to look it up and watch midlands on my phone. Hard to see peoples faces with a bad camera angle and with him going all berserk.

According to the BWI perspective Brands is the worst coach right now. Evidently he isnt even an advocate for the sport of wrestling. Kind of goes both ways doesn't it Mike?

I see you post over there quite a bit Turk and for the life of me don't know if we should all chip in and get you a medal or pay for a few shrink visits. Still a ton of good info to read, but so much Iowa hate from so many it's like banging your head against the wall to get your point across.

The sad thing is, the people that have ruined BWI have been coming over here trying to transform HR in to the shit show that BWI has become. In my opinion the moderators need to step up and take more control of the situation or we're going to be left with Iowa's version of TheMat.

Dresser was a HWC teammate, and he was my corner man at FS Nationals my first year at Iowa. He was supportive and encouraging when I needed it most, and I will always remember and appreciate that. I get why he's now perceived as a "bad guy" by Iowa fans--some of that by his own doing--but try to keep it in perspective. Ditto for Ryan.

I suspect you're seeking an argument I haven't shown any support for online. This duals outcry isn't a big deal in the overall scheme. PSU fans largely despise Brands(es) only out of the blind rivals thing, and will whip out the mat side animation when scrambling for something more tangible. On net Tom at least is pretty well respected when you boil it down. Now Manning, ...
