Grant Steen has been an extremely successful strength and conditioning coach for a few P5 conference teams. He's now with some team I'm not familiar with.

Ott's still around working out and preparing to make an NFL team. Vandy was in farm feed sales last year and was starting some hunting guide service last I heard.

I'm not sure I'd say he's been that successful at that school. I watched one of their games last year. They were lucky their opponent wore the wrong cleats so they were slipping and falling down all over the field. Wardrobe malfunctions aside, the other team was clearly superior physically.

I'm actually surprised that athletes haven't started suing the NCAA about the whole extra year granting going on. I'm not saying I think it would be successful, but I'd think there would be a lawyer out there willing to test it out.

I've always wondered how much $ Ott lost with his injury.

Millions, I believe. There was a lot of hype last year about the strides Ott made in the offseason to improve his quickness and jump off the snap. If he had stayed healthy, I don't doubt that he could have been a 3rd round draft pick. Nothing is guaranteed, but I would have been shocked if he went undrafted if it weren't for his injury.

Hopefully he had some type of insurance against injury. If he did, then perhaps it didn't hurt him too much.

Yeah Ott was playing at a very high level before the injury.....pretty sure he would have had at least 10 sacks last year, probably more
