Could someone clarify his March 1st bonus? Based on this comment from the link, it sounded kind of iffy. Does Ottawa have to pay this?

The Tate deal lets the team off the hook for a bonus that would have been due on March 1st. Unless the team has paid the bonus as a matter of good faith, the perception is a PR nightmare."

Correct.

We have been up to Calgary a weekend each of the last two summers to see Drew play(I have met him in Houston several times). If he continues to play might go to Ottawa or Toronto to see him play this summer. Good excuse for a weekend trip to places we have never been and would like to see.
