3 tds with 3 interceptions. Offense was so so.Strictly from memory, the Minnesota game (also Senior Day, IIRC) with Hinkle and Solomon was pretty grand. Believe it was 2005?
One other idea - despite being there in person, I don't have a great memory of the Wisconsin game in 2004. I know that defense was awesome and did its job, but I forget if the offense / Tate did much that day?
OSU 2004

If the ref doesn't make that iffy call Iowa was on the way to blowing out Tex. That call killed our momentum and changed the game.Ughhh still cant believe we lost to Texas, was amazing to watch Brodell burn the Thorpe winner multiple times, was crazy how fast that kid was.
2004 OSU and 2004 Wisky are the 2 that come to mind
It was a penalty. The receiver and the tight end on the same side were both on the line of scrimmage, so he was covered up and an ineligible receiver. It was the same thing that Ferentz was so mad about at Nebraska last year when it wasn't called on Nebraska's long play.If the ref doesn't make that iffy call Iowa was on the way to blowing out Tex. That call didn't help but the end around killed all momentum in that game.If the ref doesn't make that iffy call Iowa was on the way to blowing out Tex. That call killed our momentum and changed the game.
This is the best choiceWisconsin at home for the title was a great game.
Chandler shifted in motion from one side to the other, as Iowa often does with its tight ends, but he moved forward a couple steps after that and that's what drew the penalty. A TE has to remain behind the LOS once he steps back in motion. Iowa has actually done a pretty good job of this since that time. It would be an extremely rare instance for Iowa to be called for an illegal procedure like that.It was a penalty. I'll never forget that game as well. 1) It was a great game with an amazing comeback 2) I almost missed the game because my wife had the shits and wanted to go home. Drove a couple hours home (stops for poo) and an hour or so back just in time for kick! Side note: I had plans on staying home and watching with her but she told me it was ok if I wanted to go back. Not a Drew Tate game but one I always love to watch was the 2009 Indiana game....5 picks for stanzi...down 21-0...pretty epic comeback starting with sash 95 yd deflection return for td.....and Ricky was cool as ice in that second half.....love that game.
This has always been my favorite ScotHawk video. Tear jerking MF'er. The PSU game when KF lost his dad. The end interview with Holly Rowe. Every time it chokes me up.
Watch a good highlight video of the whole 2004 season and then choose a game.
I'm bored and wanting to watch Hawkeye Football. I'm thinking some Drew Tate sounds about right. What game should I watch besides the Capital One Bowl?
That's a good one just because it's fun to actually watch Iowa beat them for a change. Sam Brownlee with both arms wrapped around the ball is worth another look too.
Whatever the OP chooses, make sure it ISN'T the 2004 game at PSU. I remember Tate had about 5 passes batted down that day...
The reason I'm picking Ohio state to throttle MSU this year.
I was at the 2004 PSU game. One of my favorite games ever. KF had brass balls that day, big time.
