So I heard on Husker leaning talk radio this morning that as of now they feel Duggan is a North Carolina lean? Anybody with insight on this? I would have never guessed UNC.

Some others have mentioned on here that UNC could be a strong possibility. Not sure who’s said it

North Carolina seems random. I can see Ohio State or Oregon or even Nebraska. But, North Carolina?

Wrong homey. I’m not worried about Duggan whatsoever and there has been constant obsessing over this guy for months and it’s a serious bore. That’s all I’m saying.
I doubt you know more about him than the coaches of iowa, ga, psu, osu , tcu, tn etc etc

Lol, what? All I see is speculation regarding where a highly touted in-state recruit may go. At least in this thread.
i think he's more annoyed that we have 3 threads on the 1st page that are all about a guy who doesn't even appear to want to be a hawkeye....

He's from my area, , have friends that coach there, almost half of the girls I dated in High School were from LC (I still remember the back seat of that 1st LC girls Mustang...I know I'm not the only one), Iowa kid, QB, very highly sought after recruiting prize, actually even met Max this summer. Great kid, very sharp. I have every reason to want him but I just don't think it's his best fit and Iowa will be more than fine. I hope he gets the Notre Dame offer he covets if it's not Iowa.

Cameron Baker, I'm told, is a Husker fan. It might be the main thing holding him back from committing. The kid is a beast and just an overall athlete.

There are rarely D1 offers to Council Bluffs kids for football, I mostly think it's pretty cool to have 2 this year! Logan Jones from LC 2020 already has an offer from Minnesota.

No idea on Duggan. I have heard stuff from people who know him but they aren't sure of their own info so no need to repeat it.
Baker is a life long Husker fan. His dad played for Nebraska. He has heard nothing from them to this point and nothing to indicate they are reaching out any time soon. He has liked everything he has seen at Iowa and we sit very well with him. This is info from a close family member who knows his family very, very well.

WHO CARES if any of you followed him you would know he has been injured the last 2 years and plays only 60% of the games played! Can someone say Blake Larson? Move on folks he will never take meaningful snaps anywhere can't stay healthy.
Baker on the other hand is a beast and if NE don't offer he will be special!

Very nice! I hadn't done much inquiring/research on Cameron yet. I wouldn't be surprised if I know some of his family members and haven't put 2 & 2 together yet. Talked to some of his buddies at the Raising Canes across from TJ recently, knew the parents of one. That seemed to be the consensus that he's likely a Hawk w/o a Husker offer. A lot of time left.

Anything on Hickman??? I'm very hopeful Noah Fant and Iowa's consistent success (& NFL) with TEs gives us the edge here.

Baker will be a Hawk w/o a husker offer still close enough for his dad to attend games and they like Iowa as a distant 2nd..... Heres to hoping little red don't offer!! dude is a beast!

Notre Dame already has a stud QB committed. Very little chance that ND offers Max

The Front Page said we offered a QB from Michigan and several other QB’s not named Max i still think we’ll get a good QB this year and I think we gotta couple good one on the roster too.

I have heard the same. Either way, considering our recent recruiting developments, I think the Iowa/Duggan ship has sailed for the most part.

Trubisky being a high draft pick probably isnt hurting their cause.

There's no way I can prove it but. Nebby loves the 4 star guys because of their fans probably. As long as Baker stays below a 4 star I feel good about landing him. ;)

God news for us then. When guys commit here they go down in the rankings. So if he commits here then goes down to a 2 star then Nebraska will want him even less. Then won't try to poach him away like they would if he went somewhere else and got bumped up to a 4 star ;);)

Would love to have him, but if not best of luck to him (unless he becomes a Husker). I am very happy with our last 2 QB recruits the last 2 classes.

Cameron has built a good relationship with Iowa coaches. His dad's affiliation with Nebraska will have little to do with his decision. In my opinion, if it was up to his dad, I think Cameron would be an Iowa commit already. Its tough to sit back and wait for an offer from your dream school knowing you have an offer from a good school that makes their linebackers shine. Not only that but learning that Iowa will have a very very small class this year to sign

If they get this Cameron along with CF LB Campbell, DE from Waverly and sound like the other OL we just offered seems like he will be a Hawk would be a great job of locking down the state getting their main targets even if Duggan goes elsewhere. Plus we got 2 highly ranked OL already. I don't know if just me seems like for Iowa standards pretty strong class this year in the state.

If Nebraska offers I’m pretty sure he’s going there and no his dad isnt pushing Iowa from what I know.
