Seems like a recipe for economic disaster.

I get it. I'm sick of tourist season around Destin. But if they didn't come a whole lot of businesses would shutter and jobs evaporate.

There are plenty of better places to go if Barcelona doesn't want me there.

When it comes to Barcelona, I 100% agree with this. The fewer people that come back after visiting and think they're suddenly worldly because they call it BAR-thelona the better.

I can see if the complaint if tourism is actually increasing housing prices. But to me that's just an indication that the government needs to use the money gained from tourism better to help the people that live there.

Seems to me that the fight shouldn't be with tourists, it should be with their government about how the money is being used.
