After picking up a scholarship offer from the Iowa coaching staff following the spring game yesterday, Levi Duwa said he wanted to sleep on it and let it settle in.

Well, it didn't take long for the in-state standout to say yes to Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeyes. On Sunday morning, the Mid-Prairie prep star tweeted out that he would be joining Iowa's 2017 recruiting class.

"I want to thank everyone who has recruited me throughout this whole process," said Duwa. "It has been an honor to go around and meet a lot of awesome people and coaches and see a lot of amazing places!"

"I also want to thank everyone for all of the support that I have gotten the past couple of years," he continued. "It means a ton!"

"After a lot of thinking and talking to my parents I have made my decision," Duwa said. "I'm excited to announce my commitment to the University of Iowa!"

Duwa, who had 75 tackles, 24.5 TFL, and 14.5 sacks his junior year, chose Iowa over offers from Minnesota and Eastern Michigan.

The in-state prep is the tenth commitment for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Class of 2017 as he joins Eno Benjamin, A.J. Epenesa, Juan Harris, Coy Kirkpatrick, Jacob Coons,Tristan Wirfs, Djimon Colbert, Ivory Kelly-Martin, and Mark Kallenberger.
