this is how I think the list should look! fwiw

Camp Randall has always been overrated. It gets loud and it’s hostile, sure. It doesn’t have any of Kinnick’s intimacy though. What’s harder for an opposing player to deal with? Loud fans in the distance? Or loud fans in the distance along with fans directly behind you telling you individually how bad you are? It seems that most people, when asked about how good Camp Randall is, mention Jump Around. My opinion of Jump Around is bfd. Next.

Like the lists for best offenses and defenses, it's all a popularity contest. They're trying to sell copies of games, they don't want to put Iowa ahead of bigger programs.

students don't show up at Camp Randall until about mid Q2. Empty student section is not intimidating.

Great college football atmosphere...but not one of the toughest places to play. Certainly not in the Top 10.

There's some truth to that, but there's always going to be 100K packing Michigan Stadium, even when Michigan is 5-7 and the weather sucks even worse.

Iowa can't get 10K to fill CHA - unless it's a WBB game.
Or a wrestling meet. Or pretty much anything except MBB.

"some" truth. Yes, it's probably the quietest stadium over 100K, but it's a stretch to compare it to CHA. CHA has no storied history nor is it one of the most iconic home courts/fields in its sport. Michigan stadium has a shit ton of history. And as you point out above, it's always packed.

Night games at South Carolina get pretty loud and fans get tipsy. Love to go to Kinnick Stadium for a game

I've been to the Big House. I'd guess the difficulty playing there is usually to do with the quality of the team they field most of the time. The stadium itself isn't impressive outside of the number. It's design is so open most of the noise escapes. It's not a bad crowd by any means, but not a top one.

From bits and pieces I've gathered, Brice seems like a hidden gem of a stadium. I'd love to visit someday.
