I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping in the trees out back as I lay in my cool, cool bedroom.
Wonderful.

I can remember more than a couple of NorthWest Amateurs in Spencer, where I wore a sweater jacket to keep warm...and that event is held the last week of July....also a few of them where I roasted my little ol’ Northern European ass off in the sun, too.
What I’m trying to say is that coolish weather in late July, early August has happened before.

Awesome, I may just do my working from home out on the deck next week.

Early fall weather is the best, too bad it is still July.

I think autumn will come early and a rough winter is in store for MSP area.

I remember several years ago I was having my picture window in the living room replaced. It was August 3, and it was 56 degrees and rainy all day. Then Iowa happened and it was an oven a week later.

Davenport has the Majestic and Mighty Mississippi
River as part of its magnetic attraction. The scenic
views of this picturesque river can be seen from
the elevated heights of Prospect Park on the east
side of Davenport. You can also get a first hand
panoramic view of the river from LeClaire Park in
downtown Davenport.

Davenport is not some backwater river town
It is a great place to raise a family and earn
a living.

Davenport has the honor of being the kingpin of the
Quad Cities. Davenport humbly accepts the honor
as the eastern gateway to the great state of Iowa.
