Early out at Minny too...

Kids these days wanting things handed to them instead of busting their ass and earning it? Flee at the first sign of adversity? If this is the case rarely does transferring solve any problems. The problem lies within. They will more than likely be paying their own way to prove they can leave their baggage behind for a bit. Hope they can move on and learn from their mistakes and we see them on the mat again.

Best of luck to LE3 and PBS. Of the top Big Ten Schools, only Ohio State would seem to have a need at 157/165. Of course, closer to home, Illinois or Northwestern could definitely use him.

He has big issues. He will either ride a bench at a D-1 school or finish top 5 in D2, D3 or NAIA. He is lucky to even be able to keep wrestling.

Well, sometimes a change of scenery can be a good thing and there are certainly some places with far fewer outside distractions than going to school in Minneapolis. If he gets refocused on his wrestling, he can certainly be an NCAA qualifier and perhaps, more. If he has other priorities, I'm afraid you would be right.

How many flowers left in that garden?

Kid is waaaay to talented to have the struggles he has had. LE3 was a 3X IL State finalist with one championship, a 2X Fargo champ, good student with wins over Evan Wick (3rd at Midlands), Jo Jo Smith (ranked right behind Kemmerer) etc. Hopefully he can find the right staff and can make the right changes in his life that lead him to a successful athletic and academic career.

I don't follow mn wrestling very closely. I thought he was a fairly high recruit coming out of HS? Other than not cracking the line-up, what has changed?

Not to mention he completed a fine pharmacy internship.
