I remember about ten years ago, Ed had to "retire" after the Outback Bowl against South Carolina. Did he end up leaving the booth for a few years or did fan petitioning of UI/Learfield keep him retained? I remember when this all went down, but was thinking about it today and can't for the life of me remember how this got resolved.
