He would give us that rim protector we haven’t had for years. If we can survive an adequate year next year, the following year could be fun with 4 scholarships open. Get Bowen, Nickel, Schutt and any of the big men we are connected with and we are right back on track.
Even with Rebraca I would like to see Iowa get this guy. He is considerd by many NBA scouts as defensive ready. Would be a huge help for Iowa in a league with a lot of top end bigs. Would allow Rebraca to get more minutes at the 4 and Keegan really all of his minutes at the 4 and some at the 3 where he projects in the NBA. I really doubt as many have said that Ogundele and Mulvey will be B1G ready by next year. Would be nice to pull in a SG as well if Joe leaves like expected.
If Keegan works on his outside game would love to see him get 15-20mins or so a game at the 3. Would be a tough guard. Would give us the athletic shooter an slasher on the wing Iowa has lacked. He has been mentioned in a few 1st rd mock drafts for '22. If Keegan can play the 3 and Iowa is good at the 4 and 5 it would negate the need for a guard transfer.

EJ, you would look great in black and gold. You will get a great education, get to play in the Big Ten, and Hawk fans will Love you. P.S. our guys share the ball and know how to feed the post. It worked out pretty well for Luka Garza.
Iowa communicated with EJ Onu early this week. Not sure how the Rebraca commitment is going to affect Onu's recruitment.
Iowa lost Garza and Nunge. They have a freshman RS and a Freshman for inside bulk next year + a PF. With Onu being a grad transfer (1 year?) he will get a year as the featured center then be gone. Perfect.
Iowa also has 2 kids that can switch to walk-ons. If they can take advantage of that, especially in light of what has happened, I think they should.

I didn't have to watch much of the kid's video to realize we have zero chance to sign him.
