So who has it rougher right now?

Since last Wednesday, 932 migrants have been released in what are commonly known as “street releases” and Border Patrol calls “provisional releases."

“Generally, after processing, migrants who are not detained for the duration of their removal proceeding are provisionally released in coordination with NGOs [non-governmental organizations]. If NGOs are over capacity, U.S. Border Patrol coordinates with local government and cities to identify locations where migrants can conveniently access transportation services or accommodations,” Morales said.

El Paso’s Democratic mayor joined Texas’ Republican governor in August by chartering buses and sending migrants to New York City, but most are still responsible for finding their own transportation to the destinations inside the U.S. where they are eventually to appear before immigration courts.

Guess who still has to make their way back to Texas for amnesty legal counsel and court dates?

You’re being intentionally obtuse.

How many more posts you gonna make defending the stunt?
You fail to understand what the true issue is. The political stunt still hasn’t sunk in for you guys.

El Paso has a population of 680,000. With 1000 to 1300 people coming in every day that means 360,000 immigrants are coming through there every year. If you read the article or watch news clipping a of El Paso, the folks are living on the streets waiting to take a bus somewhere.

You even have the democrat mayor chartering busses to get people out of the city.

It is a huge problem that has been created and it get zero media coverage until 50 are sent to Martha Vineyard and liberals lose their minds

Stunt? Man you are an idiot.

I think it’s funny when Texas is tired of the open border problem with Kamala not doing a damn thing about it, so they start busing illegals across the country and now make it other cities problem. Then people like you are all up in arms. Oh, it’s inhumane, it’s kidnapping, blah blah., blah. They aren’t forced to get in that bus.

Why don’t you free up some room at your house? Do your part!

Zero media coverage? Where the f@ck have you been since the 1980's??

Funding does nothing to correct this problem,.. It's like throwing money at a drunk and expecting him to get sober.
Neither does indiscriminately shipping migrants to cities without notice and with false promises of jobs. At least funding can be used to care for these people, but most right wingers don't care about that.

Was it a "stunt" when the Biden admin did this a year ago in the dead of night? And got any stats on who shows up for those court dates. Talk about being obtuse

Quit making shit up. Biden did not lure people onto planes with false promises of jobs nor did he fail to inform the cities the immigrants were being transported to so they could prepare.

Dude I know had a great idea a couple years ago. We've got an ultra liberal city government. The head corrupt crony is the city manager. He and his lackeys on council wanted to start getting section 8 housing into affluent neighborhoods. Just not in their own of course. So my buddy wanted to do a go fund me and get people to invest in rental properties in the city managers neighborhood and turn them into section 8 housing. Still wish we had followed through on that.... A guy who frequently writes letters to the editors said in a letter around that time that he'd contacted each of the members of council about how they'd feel about section 8 housing in their own neighborhoods. He got no responses.

Disagree,.. These "stunts" seem to have at least sparked a conversation that needs to occur.
True - that conversation being about a couple of governors using people in need as political pawns. The continued exposure of those desecrations is a small silver lining.

Border states have hugely disproportionate funding provided to manage immigration.

I keep hearing this, but have yet to see the numbers for it. How much is Texas receiving each year from the federal government for immigration?

Uh no it isn’t. It’s brilliant. And a master pro level troll, if we are being honest.
Again, further proof that the GOP and their voters aren't interested in governing any longer, just trolling. People like Desantis have realized this and nearly everything he does now is aimed at trolling because that's what gets morons like you and OP to support him.

You seem very pro human trafficking. You don't think that's kind of sick? Lying to desperate families and using them as pawns in a sick game? Your party leaders are effing disgusting humans.

I believe border states have a disproportionate burden to manage the illegal aliens coming across the border. If anyone disagrees, then help me understand how these states are not disproportionately burdened compared to non-border states.
I agree. But it's sick what DeSantis and Abbott are doing. They show us constantly they don't give a damn about others. This was a sick thing to do. Help solve a problem. Don't be an asshole using families as your plaything.

Methinks you're right here ihhawk.....YOU do fail to understand what Abbot has done here! Abbot has moved these (Venezuelan) immigrants from Texas to Massachusetts....and these folks (legal as they are asylum refugees) are scheduled for asylum hearing in California NEXT month......How will they be able to get from Massachusetts to California for their hearings? They won't....at which time these immigrants will become "illegal" because they missed their hearing date.
Boy.....Abbot sure "got the libs" with that one, didn't he? Bet you're proud.

What is sick and twisted about sending these people to those who loudly proclaim their willingness and desire to render aid and comfort?
If DeSantis was charging these folks for the ride I guess you could call it human trafficking, but he isn’t. He’s taking them to self proclaimed sanctuaries for people in their plight.
How is that disgusting?
