In the end, a good season for Iowa. Opposing teams learned to collapse into the lane & deny Uthoff & Jok off the double-screens in the half-court & to find them in transition to take away the spot-up 3. Villanova exposed Iowa's biggest challenge on offense- guard play on the perimeter. Uthoff is a polished 3, playing out of position as a 4. Woody plays hard, but is not athletic & needed help defending the rim. Fran got the most out of the roster, given their limitations. Sure hope there is a transfer PG out there wanting to come to Iowa City.

You pretty much nailed it. The Big was weaker this year than expected as was quickly shown in the NCAA's. Long time since Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota were all this poor. Add in the newcomers and this league is watered down and softer than I can remember. That being said we played all the better teams twice except for Wisky and they are not as good as the last few years either.
