It's a riff on the theme of "a rising tide lifts all boats" and is absoltely an excellent stretch goal.

You might have sold me on voting for Kamala, I don’t make much money but I have amazing health and dental insurance. But if we are equal in that area as well, I consider this a huge win for me. While health insurance is great, I can’t pay for bills and buy items with my insurance.
Sometimes it's worth reminding yourself that the party that will fight tooth and nail to keep books in schools that some people consider offensive has absolutely zero problem with removing 1984.

Yeah, I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over it. It's also funny because he doesn't have me on ignore and he knows it. We both know it. She would have been better served saying the goal is “equitable opportunity” not “equitable outcomes” but to think she is calling literally for every American to have an equal amount of money or assets is being ignorant or disingenuous - or more likely - both.
Logically, if we all end up at the same place, that's the lowest common denominator. We have to hope that's not what she really meant, or that people here actually subscribe to that theory.
Try again. High tide rises all ships means all ships, everybody. Lowering taxes on all Americans would be a better analogy. Equal is not the same as fair. If we are equal there would be no wnba or nba, just NBA. That wouldn’t be fair to women, hence equal and fair. Too many examples why this doesn’t work. Equal pay promotes mediocrity. What is the incentive of getting ahead when you have to give more than the guy that doesn’t try or wont try? People need help and government programs are in place. Now we should end up equal? This sounds like participation trophy talk. Dems arent even trying to hide socialism anymore.
