Simply awful. Terrible. Unwatchable.

Set aside Dick Vitale. I think we can all agree that he can ruin a broadcast by himself. Going into the telecast knowing that he was gonna spend 60-80% of the time talking about NOT the actual game but random other stuff... well, I won’t complain about him but he needs to retire. Yesterday.

Aside from that, when you say several times throughout the broadcast “again, we are not physically AT the arena so we didn’t get an explanation” on reviewed plays (and there were a lot of reviewed plays!!) is inexcusable. Literally zero explanation on several calls. This is your “blockbuster” broadcast and you can’t even have someone there to help provide insight? Anyone?

Very few replays (compared to other networks) too. Using 1/3 of the screen to show other graphics/ NCAA tourney stuff during live action. I could go on.... But it was just an awful production/ telecast (and the game, second half at least really sucked too.)
