Good news for @MrsScrew !!!

Rutgers & Indiana continue to get one of the LAST 4 BYES.

Michigan is one of the LAST 4 IN (in a play in game).

Xavier (and Jack Nunge) are part of the FIRST 4 OUT.

Joe Lunardi has #5 Iowa in the MIDWEST (Chicago) Regional. He has Iowa starting out in Portland vs #12 South Dakota State with the winner getting #4 UCLA or #13 New Mexico State. So, if Iowa wins these 2 games in Portland, they advance to the Sweet 16 in Chicago.

mid november seems a bit too early to be making braketology predictions
Of course it is, but they do a bracket for this year at the end of last year don't they? Its all just media generating interest until Feb. anyway....

Yet to be seen if we’re “so much better on defense”, also yet to be seen if we can score effectively against good competition. Tonight will be a good test and see a little better how we stack up
One thing Fran's teams seem to always be able to do and that's score on anybody.

Heading into last night, Virginia was not considered an NCAA Tournament team.

This is what it took for them to beat a 2-5 Pitt team at home, 57-56.

Nothing like bracket predictions in December.

With the way omnicron is ravaging teams across the nation, I’m hoping Iowa’s willingness to get their boosters may help their seeding.

Iowa as an eight seed seems overly optimistic.

Looking at their upcoming schedule, I think they need to go 5-3 for the month of January. If they can accomplish that, I think they've got a good shot at getting 5 more.

They aren't that far away from being good, or at least approaching what they were last year. Big thing is they need to play and get some cohesion. Aside from having Clark play like the 20-21 version. I can't imagine she will shoot 25% from 3-point land and 38% FG's overall. She's a volume shooter, and last year she made over 40% of her 3's. This year, she's taking nearly 10 3's a game and hitting only 25% of them. That puts a huge drag on the offense. Bluder has a track record of getting her teams to come together. Hope they can do it again this year.
