I find it a bit funny that over the past couple years after the B1G has won the Challenge that ESPN barely even whispers of the B1G victory. All ive heard and read about have been Duke and UNC. I say this because since 2008 the B1G has dominated this series and I remember the first 10 years of this series very vividly. I remember after every ACC victory ESPN ramming it down the throats of all basketball fans how much better the ACC was how much better their teams were. The B1G deserves some respect.
On a side note picking up 8 wins and the victory will do the B1G a great deal come March. After watching all these games its clear the B1G could have as many as 10 teams battling for NCAA spots. The league is a lot deeper then I thought they were a week ago. Iowa is in a group with Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Northwestern that will battle it out for 4th with Illinois and Nebraska close behind. I think Purdue and MSU are the two best followed by Maryland.
