IC-Coralville Top 5...
#1 - Tabooleh Mediterranean Buffet
#2 - Masala Indian Buffet
#3 - La Regia Taqueria
#4 - Sparty’s Gyros (sorta ethnic)
#5 - Three Samurai (sushi)
I put that last one in, but I am positive there is one that I’m forgetting.
Is Pho still open in Cedar Rapids? Pretty good Vietnamese food.
I like both. They seem to have complimentary dishes.Mai Pho on Edgewood near the AMC Westdale Theater? Yes, and it’s good. However, I prefer Phong Lan.
My IC area input:
- I love pho in c'ville. bad name, great pho
- la regia, mexican
- oasis, not sure how 'authentic', but quality mediterranean product
- szechuan house on burlington, kind of changed their menu in the last year and got rid of my favorite dish, but still really great place
- big grove tries to do a popular street food thing. can't say its terribly authentic either, but its fun to try stuff with some beers, so worth the mention.
I go Soseki for best sushi. Not a fancy sitdown place, but best sushi in town for the $$.IC-Coralville Top 5...
