Ever heard of Jordan Peterson?

I like him and agree with a lot of what he says. What I like about him even more is that he is a guy that would have a discourse about the things I don't agree with him on.

He's not just a loud mouth that talks louder when someone challenges his views.

If you haven’t watched the video, you absolutely should. If time is an issue, skip to 22:07 to watch him rip out her spleen and make her take a bite. It’s brilliant.
He uses logic, common sense, and the correct words to politely crush her arguments. The greatest thing about him is his delivery, he never tries to intentionally embarrass or talk down to anyone.

Easily one of the more brilliant minds of our times. Very few people seem to get it like this guy does.
I just finished this podcast. Pretty interesting guy. “I figured out how to monetize social justice warriors.” That made me chuckle.

I also watched the podcast Rogan did with Peterson and Bret Weinstein. That was a good one also.

I've been a fan of Rogan's podcast for years because it's a long form conversation. These stupid little snippet pieces that television media does don't ever get a real idea across. Context is really important in understanding where someone is coming from, and I'm really glad that Peterson doesn't do them because what he says requires a long form context. Honestly, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to media sources that aren't long form for that reason, you can't truly get a gauge on someone's argument in a 30 second sound byte. In summary, podcasts are awesome and **** our "news" media and twitter.

LOL. Trumpbaggers drooling over a canuck.
Plot twist. I voted straight democrat (except for president, I voted for neither Trump or Clinton) in both 2016 and the recent primaries. It’s the partisan hacks on both sides that I despise. The increasing tribalism of both parties is completely destroying any chance at any rational discussion on any topics.

I've voted in presidential elections since 1972. 2008 is the only time I've voted democrat.

Or has the Center abandoned both parties and you are left with the zealots?

Could be. The vocal minority on both extremes seem to be driving things. Maybe it’s because of social media and the internet, but sensationalism seems to push the narrative.

As you said though, the zealots on each end are pushing more people away from the center. You hear from righties on HROT all the time, that the left’s actions are what pushed people to vote for Trump. The flip side is that Trump’s actions are pushing people that were barely left, even further left.

Lol saw someone describe him as the Timothy Leary of Xanax and steak and that's about right for that MLM self-help guru media fraud

Didn't get hooked on benzos, I take it? They're basically booze that tricks you into thinking you're not effed up. Like you know when you're drunk. You have no idea how effed up you are on benzos until they wear off
