Yep. Iowa loses this type of game way more than it wins it.
This is why we can’t have nice things. And why people don’t take Iowa or Ferentz seriously.
I'm sick of it. All we needed was okay Stanley and we got horrendous Stanley.
I’m still trying to figure out why Iowa didn’t run the down their throat on 1st down...
Seems like when Iowa is in shot gun they should be under center and at times they are under center and they should be in shot gun..

He has been awful the past two games. The coaches not taking him out of the game was awful too. Crappy game all around but Stanley was just terrible. No way he is NFL QB. He does not have the "it" factor, too many bonehead WTF plays.
Why? Iowa is historically bad for long stretches and only successful for a few blips until Fry and Ferentz took over. Many years 7 wins was enough to put the whole town on fire. Now 7 wins is completely pathetic. I think Iowa can and should win 8 or 9 but a lot of teams would like to win 7 games a year.
F & F define blips of success. Mostly excuses and complaining.

Yeah I think the Iowa coaches are trying to figure things out just as much as the players are. KF needs good assistant coaches around him and right now his staff are just ok.

We have to win more games than just the Iowa State game. It's a great win but it's really too bad we crap our shorts so many times when we have good teams and somehow manage to give this type of game away.

But as for this most recent opportunity, all Ol' Doodle can say is, just like that...*snaps fingers*...we're nationally irrelevant again.
Other fan bases feeling pretty much the same as us today include Texas, Oregon, Stanford, Florida, Washington, NC State, and Texas A&M.
Teams in roughly the same shoes as Iowa heading into yesterday, but who didn't spit the bit include Kentucky, Georgia and Washington State.
