Everyone is Going to Want a Hummer

She can be replaced, we have the technology.

I bet those are popular with the teamsters.

The original ones sucked as passenger vehicles. The gear box was huge and in the middle of the back seat and was very loud. Also, they had tires that were expensive as all get out, as in $1000 each and they did not last well with highway driving. Also, if you did not drive it for two weeks the tires would lose pressure (They had a self inflation system), and you would have to take the tire off and take it to the dealer to reinflate and reseat the bead.

Oh, no disallusionment as to how pratical they were. But we crawled all over them when they dispatched a couple to our ship. They are built so well for their purpose and just bada$$ in general. It'd be like having a tank. Hell yes I'd have one if I could. No real NEED for it, but the WANT, hell yeah.

The notion of sticking my penis into something that has live electricity seems a little risky to me. Who wants to be the only guy to have the fire department called due to being stuck in a contraption and getting electrical shocks to his unit? Then having to go to the hospital and explain the who thing again. Even at a risk of .0001%, that is too high.

I will stay with inserting my peen into more "normal" things.

Dude... goats aren’t normal.

There are options for you too. No electricity for a Fleshlight unless you want to invest in the launch.

Most of that is self-explanatory, but how does blue tooth enhance the experience? Also I don't think you'd ever want the jammed error to occur...

Using VR to watch porn... wonder how it decides who you are trying to have sex with..

Be freaking hilarious to THINK you are having haptic feedback to one person and then it turns out you are actually "feeling" someone else.

Oh man that is next level masturbation. So is it synced to a video like when the cannons are synced to the overture of 1812?

It syncs with VR so as you watch porn, you feel what she is doing in the movie. It also has an app for your phone so that someone can control the device remotely. So if you go on a trip, your partner can get you off even when you are on the other side of the planet. Isn’t technology fun?

I'd bet it has already jumped from feedback based on what you seeing to feedback and involvement of the VR user to help control the events that are occurring.

I also saw an article years ago about the remote kissing machine where your feedback was received on the other end by the other user and they were able to respond in turn.

I suspect it is either existing or will exist shortly, where the VR allows random people to suit up and enter an interactive "game" where they are controlling all the interactions. This is the beginning of how men fade into the background and women rule the world. Gonna be a bunch of dudes plugged in having virtual sex with other dudes who have an avatar as a girl. All day long.

Makes me think of the movie with Bruce Willis, Surrogates.

Wow. We just need to somehow relate porn to curing COVID and someone will find a way.

They make molds of porn stars “insides” so that you can imagine being in the actual actress of your preference.

This poses the hypothetical. Can one become a VR pron star? Have a cast made, then "act" in VR videos that guys (or girls depending on your preference) and have a live interaction with others (bunch of people all involved on the "receiving" end of the experience.

But not actually do skin porn, instead do just VR pron.

I like how you think.

I particularly like that the ad shows the fun of doing a no-hands lane change into a blind curve.

Passing a camper (esp a heavy Airstream) at altitude is easy and fast. I would put money on that pass (at 1:54 in the video) occurring on Lizard Head Pass, 30 minutes south of Telluride. Going north on 145. I recognize the gap in the trees with Yellow Mtn in the background. You can see around most of this turns a lot more than the stills/video make it seem.

But I get what you are saying. Not sure how I feel about the Led Zeppelin cover.

There are some pretty cool aspects of that truck. But in the back of my head I keep going, $100K?, that sure looks like it will be expensive to fix. Crabwalk looks cool, how much will it cost vs how much to repair / maintain?

I had a Hummer H3 when the first came out. Wife drove it. I liked it. Felt like we were bouncing down the road. Robert Gallery bought an H1 from the same dealership in the Bay Area, one day I was in there and the sales rep saw my Hawkeye sweatshirt and said I just missed Gallery and his younger brother and they were both wearing Hawkeye Gear. CSB.

I don't understand why they would design something that looks so utterly ridiculous. I am sure it is super aerodynamic but it I'd sacrifice a few miles of range to have something that looked the new Hummer rather than a Tetris piece.

Aerodynamics are part of it. However it's mostly due to materials. Tesla's 30x hardened steel can't be pressed. Traditional car body stamping machines would be broken by it. The Hummer isn't going to be 9mm bullet proof or resist blows by sledge hammers.

"But since the panels of the Cybertruck are so stiff, machines aren’t strong enough to stamp them. In order to add curves to the Cybertruck’s body, Tesla would need to build a whole new type of stamping press — or just design the car without curves. They did the latter."

When they pour the metal into the forms, can't they just pour them into a curved mold?

Also, doesn't this go against the idea of "crumple zones" where the shock to the body is lessened by a car that "accordians" a bit at impact?

And lastly, who needs a bullet proof car? Not doing driveby shootings anytime in the near future.

Note sure for a cyber truck, but I do know that my model 3 is the safest car I've ever been it. I had a semi truck get blown out of it's lane by the wind while I was passing it. My Tesla, on simple cruise control, swerved two feet off the road to avoid the collision. It came from my blind spot so now why I could have reacted in time to avoid it.

The model X (SUV) is impossible to roll because of weight and low center of gravity. You never get engine intrusion because there is no engine to enter the compartment.

Telsa 3, 1, and X have all scored the lowest probability of occupant injuries of any car tested.
