You never know, maybe he wants to boost his NFL stock by handing off the ball a lot, interspersed with 4 yard completions to his TE?
He neutered him. Careful Kirk came out of the locker room at halftime. I'd be mad, but I've seen that about 300 times.
All he needs to do is promise to never turn over the ball. That is all Kirk wants. Run the play clock down to 2 seconds every play, and don't turn over the ball.

Seriously. For the last 2 or 3 years, I am pleasantly surprised anytime the Hawks complete a pass of greater than 5 yards.
A lot of things have to happen at Iowa to complete a forward pass. ….1. Call the correct play in the huddle with everyone listening. 2. Break the huddle and line up in the correct formation. 3. Have a successful center quarterback exchange. 4. WR’s need to run correct routes. 5. Pass protection is adequate for the quarterback to read the defenders and WR’s. 6. The quarterback throws an accurate and catchable ball. And 7. The WR’s make a successful catch and advance forward.
It’s an ebb and flow really.

What’s the upside??
He is a legit pro prospect who had a slightly off year. He's going to go someplace that will up the odds he gets into the NFL
