Can't really vote with your wallet on the first question, but it makes sense to feel some ownership if you attended Iowa. Second question, vote all day with your wallet, especially if your donating those chunks to get the good seats.

You don't fire a coach like Ferentz because you're simply unhappy with results. You only fire a coach like Ferentz if you have all but sigs/initials on the last page of a contract for a quality replacement. You don't fire a coach like Ferentz and then start a coaching search. That's how you become a really, really bad football program quickly for 10+ years.
Your right on this! Nebraska had to fire Peterson to get rid of Callahan an Eichhorst to let Riley go at the end of the season.
Teams do it all the time with success. Wisconsin hasn't fired any coach but they haven't missed a beat since having 3 since Barry.
They also do it all the time with remarkable failure. It's not a good bet. Harold Hill will be coaching your football team usually. Yes, that's a Music Man reference.
