According to CNN last night....fiction!

South Carolina voters who supporter Bush did go to Rubio, but only 31% went to him. The others went to Cruz, Trump, and Rubio as well. It was reported if you split them up how they reported their support would go then...

Rubio & Cruz would have had 2% more
Trump & Carson would have had 1% more

Doesn't really matter as JB had so few supporters. The really big question is "Who will the Cruz supporters go to when he drops out?"
Only the evangelicals are going to continue to vote for Cruz and it will soon be apparent that that is not enough to win the nomination. Cruz will drop out and his supporters will be faced with getting behind a man who consistently calls their candidate a bible thumping liar or Jr. (Rubio). Ted doesn't like anyone and no one likes Ted but he may decide to get a last shot at The Donald by endorsing Rubio.

Cruz is one of those guys I can see going on and on even if it was clear he had no chance. He's always been a look at me guy in the Senate, the one vs. all man. Everything he's ever done has been a strategic ploy for this moment.

Cruz supporters probably break 75% to Trump.

I have been really bummed since last night.

I really thought Jeb would make it past the Nevada Caucuses this Thursday, and this has kind of forced us to determine a second choice. We (my wife and i) were intending to support Bush at the Caucuses even if we were his only two supporters.

I do not see either my wife or myself "flocking" to Rubio. He seems like a nice ambitious young guy, but so far he is mostly talk ... like Cruz and Trump.

With a whole gaggle of qualified governors in this election from the outset, we are now finding ourselves at loose ends ... having lost Perry, Christie, Walker, Jindal, and now Bush.

In any case, we are feeling forced to take a look at Kasich. I suspect that when we look at his policy/position papers, we will find him similar to Bush.

He will probably be our choice, but so far he seems to have been talking past the Republican selection process and speaking to the electorate as a whole ... posing as an amiable Republican while all my Republican friends are angry and furious Republicans. He needs to get a little more on-message.

Agreed. The fact he was supported by Bob Vander Plaats is evidence.

This guy makes me PUKE!!!!!!!

For me, I adapt an Alfred E. Newman stance, I won't worry about it...because Marco told me last night (Saturday) that this will all play out as God intends it too. I didn't realize God was so damned political.
So, with that information, I am looking for a driving range that is "open" and looking to figure out where my 27 degree hybrid will fit into my golf game. Spring cometh!!

Man up and get a #1 iron.

With so few voters,it will be hard to tell.
This was my first thought, too. Even if Rubes got every last one of Jeb's voters, which he won't, he would still be behind Trump. Hell, you can throw in Kasich's voters, too, and Rubes is still won't get there.

Since Kasich and Bush both got about 8%, and Marco had 22%, if you were to add them together, Marco would be ahead of Trump. Try harder Huey.

I believe most Bush voters will go to Rubio or Kasich, but more likely Rubio. There is the psychology of wanting to support a winner at play as well. Over the next week, if Rubio poll numbers rise in the super Tuesday races, voters will flock to him. People want to be with a winner. There is no doubt that Republican office holders will be endorsing Rubio by the dozens, every day. You will see him on TV campaigning with them. Pundits will be talking about it. Cruz will drop and Rubio will rise. Can he beat Trump? March 1 we will know.

If Rubio has another "pull my string and hear me talk" moment, he's gonna be toast. The best result for the GOP would be those voters lining up behind Kasich...but that won't happen.

"Pull my string and hear me talk" PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!

"Pull my string and hear me talk" PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!

I'm seeing a commercial of Rubio paired with Woody the Cowboy. Woody says, "There's a snake in mah boot!". Cut to Rubio, "He knows exactly what he's doing". Back to Woody. Back to Rubio. Back to Woody. back to Rubio. Thirty seconds of comedy gold.
