Wow....There just a little news bit on Channel 8 Sports about how Iowa State is starting a fund to pay athletes for personal appearances. This is a "fan fund" independent" of the University but this is a source of funding that is pretty common place. I felt a little dirty watching the piece.
However boys, honestly we have long known where college sports was headed and what it really was.....I guess now we are just negotiating the price. It is important to understand ALL schools are doing this in one way or another........but it just cannot be good for all involved.
