They've worked on me. I currently have some Dr Pepper Zero in the fridge.

These Dr. Pepper commercials are so "on brand", especially given what is going on with college football today.

I suppose Bama will get selected for the CFP tomorrow as well, even with 3 losses.

There's no doubt they're putting Bama in with 3 losses (2 of them bad losses). Their fans, the SEC, and the playoff committee see it as their birthright.

Yep, sucks. Funny thing is, both bama and jerja were absent for years from contention, but now act like they have always been dominant. Jerja in particular was the gators whipping boy for quite awhile. After the Bear, it was a long time before Gene Stallings brought bama back to the table.
I have long been a proponent of a playoff at the end of the year of the type that smaller schools have had for decades. The bowl system always was sleazy.
Never would have predicted that the 12 team vs 16 team “tourney” and network/corporate influence would have created such a skit show regarding who gets invited.
More frigging big money influence.

I just saw this suggesting a NIT Playoff as well. If we just admit it's a money grab, it will really make everything "easier" to manage moving forward.
