I'm not sure if he said anything today but he has in the past and it not making him any friends in the program.
Anyone that wants to argue with me only needs to watch the first play of the game to see Fant's efforts at blocking. He and Hock double and Fant comes of the block to the little cornerback who proceeds to drive Fant RIGHT OFF THE FIELD INTO THE BENCH. On the second play he BLOCKS NO ONE and appears to ask Hock who he was supposed to block. I can go on.
I had not seen that, so I stand corrected. A lie is usually intentional, and this was just an oversight on my part, so your saying I lied, is a little bit of an overstatement. I don't like to give incorrect information so I appreciate you pointing this out to me and I will correct my error. Thanks.

You act like I'm saying something he's not hearing from the coaching staff. And after re-watching the game from Saturday I feel even stronger about my observations. Hock is by far a better TE in all aspects at this time. He has improved immensely in all facets, while Fant has shown little to no improvement from last year. Have you ever listened to KF talk about how they expect the best players to get better? How it's the only way for a program like theirs to reach certain levels.
Fant is a good athlete and when they get him in certain isolated match-ups, he can make some plays, but it takes more than that. and it takes CONSISTENCY and he is falling farther behind Hock with every game. He needs to step it up if this team is going to reach certain goals. What don't you understand, unless, you are his brother!!!

Has anyone noticed when Iowa goes tempo how effective Fant & Hock are in the passing game?? I didn’t see any tempo against Maryland, I wonder why? Wind, maybe? Oh yeah, May God Bless all of your souls.. For the record I think Fant & Hock are both excellent ball players and athletes.. hope whatever is dinged up on Fant gets right.
