The more I read and watched stuff on this guy the less I wanted him. Seems to be a “me-first” type person & that type will never gel with a Fran-led team. Could easily have seen him throwing fits if he felt he wasn’t a big enough focus in the offense.
Hah! Figures you would trot out the "We didn't want him anyway" defense.
The good news is that we are still in on some big men. I’d put a hefty wager on it that we land someone.
Yes, he is and not a big surprise it was not Iowa as they always seemed like an afterthought with him. Not sure why? Maybe $'s
Hopefully as he looks like just what a FM running team needs at the 5 IMO.
Look at the coach and roster and compare it to the Texas Tech roster and you will understand why he chose the Red Raiders over the Hawks.
It would seem like, when looking at the coach, you would choose to play for Fran if you were a big guy wanting to take your game to the next level. In addition, it looks like our roster would have worked very well for him, like he's the missing piece in the post.........
It’s hard to argue with a guy choosing Tech. They had an unbelievable year with a bunch of guys thrown together, much like Iowa State. Their coach can really teach team defense.

Felipe Haase out of Mercer could be a good player in a P6 conference. No idea who is looking at him.
